We started
recording this album early in 96. I remember arriving
in Toronto and getting off the bus in the snow with just our
acoustic guitars. Looking back we probably weren't
very prepared to record an album. We spent the next 3
weeks writing songs in cheap hotels, spending our days in the studio and busking
on the streets for a few bucks whenever we got the chance. We
didn't have a backing band at the time but had a lot of
friends come in to lend a hand. I don't think
the album we ended up with was a fair representation of what
we were doing at the time, or even had intended to do,
but looking back we can now appreciate some of the charm that
album has to offer. I guess you could call it our
country album. It's been sold out
now for a few years, but there has been talk of re-releasing
