THE FARRELL BROS. - THIS IS A RIOT
- (STUMBLE RECORDS 2005)
Selkirk,
Manitoba's Farrell Brothers have been blazing a
path of Punkabilly madness for several years now.
Their latest record shows they have no signs of slowing down
as they rip through an invigorating set that recalls early
Clash. "Fight"
sounds like it could have been the b-side to The
Clash's first single, "Kristy"
has the reggae twinge and "It's
Alright Tonight" >>click here! |

THE FARRELL BROS. - CURBSTOMP BOOGIE-
(Raucous Records 2004)
Release number three from everyone's favorite Selkirkian greasers is what
these boys were aiming for from the get-go and they've blasted
that pop bottle from here to Lockport, at least. Forgoing the
mainstream roots rock high falootin' ness that they dabbled in
on their debut , the 'Rumble' takes off where their
Go to Hell
EP left off, showcasing the fiery link

THE FARRELL BROS. - RUMBLE @ THE OPRY! -
(Teenage Rampage Rec.
2003)
Rockabilly siblings Gordie and Shawn sport mile-high
DAs and black Rebels leathers,
but they're more than
retro-rebels.
Their new 14 track Rumble @ the Opry - a
fiery fusion of classic twang and contemporary adrenaline - is
all the proof you need.
Sure,
Gordie can slap that doghouse bass
like Bill Black,
Shawn can pull twangy licks out of his vintage

THE FARRELL BROS. - BALLAD OF JACKPINE
SLASH - (Independent 1998)
We started recording this album early in 96.
I remember arriving in Toronto and getting off the bus in the
snow with just our acoustic guitars.
Looking back we probably weren't very prepared to
record an album.
We spent the next 3 weeks writing songs in cheap hotels,
spending our days in the studio and busking on the streets for
a few bucks whenever >>click here!
